The filter circuit design reduces the risk of squealing noise by reducing feedback between the earpiece and speaker. It incorporates efficient circuitry to reduce power consumption and extend battery life. The front-panel LED indicator informs the operator when the batteries need replacing. Volume control is located on the front panel.
