USGI USMC Pack System FILBE Main Bag Backpack
The USMC Pack System in Coyote Brown is a genuine piece of US government equipment. These are manufactured for military contracts by manufacturers such as Propper and Eagle Industries. The USMC Pack System is designed as a replacement for the standard ILBE pack system and is specifically intended to provide the Marines with a load-bearing system that can be fully integrated into currently fielded body armor systems. One of these is called FILBE (Family of Improved Load Bearing Equipment), now simply called the Marine Corps Pack System.
The main pack is divided by a shelf into a 3400 cubic-meter main compartment and a 1600 cubic-meter lower sleeping bag compartment. It can be converted into one large compartment by opening a zipper on the shelf. The padded shoulder straps and hip belt are individually adjustable for all sizes.
The complete system consists of many parts. These are sold as complete packages, but do NOT include any optional accessories or other parts outside of the main package . This means you get the main bag, frame, shoulder strap assembly, and hipbelt.
