The parka features a two-way center front zipper with a protective storm flap, nylon-reinforced elbows, two front zippered pockets, a rip-stop nylon lining, and an elastic drawcord at the bottom hem for adjustability. It also features a collar with a collapsible, insulated hood with a drawcord that can be easily stowed inside the collar. Additionally, there are hook-and-loop fasteners for attaching rank insignia and name tags, as well as elastic cuffs with hook-and-loop adjustment straps.
