An old reliable favorite, the Canteen Cover! Holds a GI-issue 1-quart canteen. Manufactured by a U.S. government contractor; manufacturer may vary.
The water bottle cover is made of nylon fabric and webbing and acrylic pile interlining material. The two-tab closure is secured with metal snap fasteners. There is a small pocket on the front of the cover for carrying water purification tablets. The lid of this small bag is secured with a Velcro fastener. The cover is attached to the individual gear belt using two webbing holders with interlocking sliders.
