COYOTE COLOR FOR USE WITH NEW OCP MULTICAM UNIFORMS – IMPORTED
Base layer : Worn alone against the skin or in conjunction with other layers for additional insulation and to assist moisture transport. Known to most as "Silk Weight" or "Silkies" due to their thin and comfortable construction.
The Extreme Cold Weather Clothing System or Gen-III ECWCS is a cold weather protective clothing system originally developed by the United States Army Natick Soldier Research, Development and Engineering Center. This system consisted of a parka and pants, along with 20 other individual garments, headgear, and footwear used in various combinations to meet the U.S. military's cold-weather environmental requirements.
Our baselayer-level garments are based on these designs to give our garments the same quality and utility as the baselayers in this system. Level 1 garments wick moisture away from the skin into the outer layers of clothing, providing excellent warmth without weight, drying quickly, and compressing to reduce bulk when packing.
